Easter 2012...

Wow, what a fun Easter! The girls had a blast coloring eggs with their cousins and aunts (except that Tessa ate her egg, shell and all). This morning when we woke up Brooklyn was SO excited that the easter bunny found us. Tessa was thrilled about the chocolate and wouldn't stop eating it. Love my girlies!!!

Zach...

Zachary Edward Grove passed to the next life in the early hours of March 1st 2012. Born in Sandy, Utah on July 24, 1987 along with his twin sister Amanda Katherine Grove, his lifelong best friend. He attended School in West Valley, Utah and graduated from Cyprus High School in 2005. He was a member of the LDS Church. After a two year courtship, married Brittany Marie Howard on March 3rd, 2006. Relocated to Tremonton Utah in 2007. They had two beautiful daughters together, Brooklyn Marie and Tessa James who loved their Daddy very much. They later separated. Zach had an infectious zeal for life. He lit up a room simply by entering it. He loved to hunt with James, his father-in-law who shared his secrets and helped him bag his first deer; and fish, especially with Brooklyn. He loved working with his hands. His first job was at Freightliner Trucking. After stints making explosives, working as a lead at a meat packing company and trying out the oil fields of Wyoming, he returned to his first love as a mechanic at Freightliner. He was proud of his heritage, devoted to his children, loyal to his friends and family and willing to help anyone who needed it. His passing will leave a void in many, many lives. Zach is survived by his sister and best friend Amanda Grove, parents Mark and Tamera Grove, in-laws James and DeAnna Howard, Brittany, Brooklyn and Tessa Grove, Courtney Carter and his unborn son Mason Zachary Grove. Also, Grandparents Dallas and Dana Day and Virginia Dare Grove and many cousins, aunts and uncles. You can turn your tunes to 11 and ignore the speed limit, my son. We will miss you dearly. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 8th at the Elwood Chapel, 865 W 9600 N, Elwood, Utah from 11:00 am. to 12:30. Services will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place immediately after at Riverview Cemetery, Tremonton, Utah.

Slack much?

Wow, I really need to do a better job at keeping this thing updated! So many things have changed. This last year has been the worst... actually I'm going to rephrase that, the most challenging year I've ever had. From being separated, to moving in with my parents, taking on new responsibilities at work, loosing and gaining friends, loosing and gaining family, dating, being exhausted, answering Brooklyn's questions that I don't really know the answers to, and finally having Zach pass away totally unexpectedly.... it's been an emotional roller coaster. I am hoping that all of this has made me stronger and made me a better person AND that this next year will be 10 times better, because I don't know that I can handle much more....

I want to start updating the blog at least once a week... If i don't will ya'll remind me I'm slacking?? THANKS!!

We got to spend the night at Rachel, Esi, and Elliot's House. Was a blast. We listened to music, danced, played dress up, played babies, watched movies, made Pizza, played Nintendo, and had a pretty dang good time. Thanks for the invite.

The Month Macarena...

Brooklyn is such a smarty pants! She may not have the macarena down but she knows her months!

Funny girl's

The other day Brooklyn and Esi were sitting at thte counter at Grandma De's and all of a sudden Brooklyn started yelling at Esi "Get that choking hazard lid out of your mouth!" Choking hazard, really? Not sure where she learned that one from.

Tessa has learned the "Hello Song" at daycare and has started patting her legs so we will sing it to her. (Hello, Hello, Hello Tessa. Tessa, Tessa, How are you today?)

Tessa has also become more and more mischievous. She gets into the magazine rack and just watches you until you get up then she takes off running because she knows she's about to be in trouble.

Tessa has learned how to go up and down the stairs but like to try and give me a heart attack by stopping half way and standing up. Little turkey.

Brooklyn has started to try spelling everything. She will say "mom, can I have a l-p-n-s-s-q-z" And I have to tell her I don't know how to spell so she will tell me what it is she wants. It's so cute.
